The Vault reports the escape of three Skrull prisoners; Super-Skrull, Ultra-Skrull and a recently incarcerated Skrull who posed as Dr. Doom. (EBTN.SG08.54) Data suggests that the unidentified Skrull was much more capable than previously known. Subject was subjected to standard scanning techniques and only showed the ability to perform low level shape-shifting. This scanning records a subject's bio-physical energy signature as well as recording specific indicators on a genetic level. Subject was therefor placed in a standard class 2-B cell. Failure of routine cellular verification tests discovered that the Skrull had been replaced by a guard who had recently called in sick. The guard was hypnotized into believing he was the Skrull and some type of synthetic skin was used to complete the masquerade.
An Emergency Verification Program was initiated and it was quickly discovered that Super-Skrull and Ultra-Skrull were also hypnotized staff members. A lock down was initiated but no sign of the escaped Skrull could be found. Neither Super-Skrull nor Ultra-Skrull are known to possess the ability to overcome the security safeguards in place at The Vault. This is a serious breech in security and shows how vulnerable we are to shape shifters who can manipulate their cellular structure. New security procedures are under consideration.

Analysis of data on Skrull Power Troopers indicates that the ability to perform cellular level shape shifting is a relatively rare phenomonen. Only three Skrull are known to possess this ability; Eclipse, Mimic and Meteor. Meteor's abilities are limited to non-organnic forms. A secondary theory must be considered, however. Postulating advanced alien technology and class 60 Mental Domination, it might be possible to achieve the same results by faking the results of the tests and re-writing computer records. There is some evidence that computer records have been tampered with. Analysis indicates that the Skrull, code named; Anguish might possess the necessary abilities.

Recent reports submitted by The Avengers indicates that at least one strike into Kree space was made by a Skrull expeditionary fleet. Reports indicate that the Kree managed to fight off the incursion but at great cost due to the disruption of their star systems. Analysis indicates that the spatial anomoly located near Sol was used by the Skrull Force as a jump point to the Kree Galaxy.
